MC4 Style Blocking Diode 20A

Most battery charge controls have a blocking diode to stop panels draining the battery at night. If there is no control present then you need to put one of these on the positive MC4 connector of your panel.

May also be used in larger solar arrays with parallel strings to protect from severe shading. Please see FAQ about blocking diodes.
